About
Christopher Acquaviva
Senior Wealth Advisor, Viva Wealth Management
Chris has spent more than a decade advising private clients, including over six years in private wealth advisory at J.P. Morgan serving business owners, executives, families and family offices. He built Viva Wealth Management to give clients what he saw the best families get: one advisor who sees the whole picture and keeps every piece moving together.

Background
Where the experience comes from.
From 2018 to 2025 he worked in private wealth at J.P. Morgan Chase in Red Bank, New Jersey, where he served founders, business owners, ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices. While at J.P. Morgan he became a market leader and was able to grow his book of business substantially.
Asset growth reflects client acquisition, transfers, and market movement. It is not a measure of investment performance and it is not a prediction of any client's results.
Most recently he was VP of Private Clients at Lumida Wealth. Earlier roles were at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Short Hills, New Jersey, and AXA Advisors in Woodbridge, New Jersey. He holds the Series 66 qualification and is registered as an investment adviser representative of Cross Financial Advisors, LLC. He studied at the University of South Carolina.
In my words
Why I built my practice this way.
I spent more than a decade at some of the largest firms in the industry, and then joined a smaller boutique firm. Each one taught me something. Over time, I came to one conclusion: unless I built a practice with full autonomy, I would never be able to give clients the kind of experience I believe they deserve.
Too often I watched the client relationship bend to fit the firm. A family would sit across the table from me with a life that looked like no one else’s, and the answer they got came from a template: the same models, the same meeting schedule, the same process. That never sat right with me. The people I work with have spent their lives building something. They deserve an advisor whose first commitment is to them and to how they want things done.
So I made a decision that came down to one question: what is best for my clients? I joined Cross Financial and Current because they let me serve people the way I believe I should, with the resources clients should expect behind me.
- Full autonomy. How we work together is built around your life, not a corporate playbook: how often we meet, how we communicate, which specialists we bring in and how your plan comes together.
- Open architecture. I am not limited to an in-house product shelf, so I can look across the market for the investments, lending options and providers that fit you.
- Tax expertise behind every plan. Cross Financial is part of Current, a national network of independent accounting firms with more than 2,000 professionals. That gives my clients access to experienced CPAs in many parts of the country, and if you already have a CPA you trust, I work hand in hand with them.
- Compliance and operations, handled. Cross Financial provides the compliance oversight, administration and operational support a practice needs, which keeps my time where it belongs: with you.
Every one of those pieces exists for the same reason: so I can serve you the way you want to be served. Some clients want to talk every month. Others want a clear plan and a call when something changes. Whatever the right rhythm is for you, that is how we will work, and you will always have an advisor whose attention is on you and your family.
Outside the office
Family first.
Everything starts with my family. I live in New Jersey with my beautiful wife, Meghan, our 13-year-old daughter, Annabelle, and our 2-year-old son, Christopher Joseph, who goes by CJ. Most of my free time belongs to them, whether that means cheering Annabelle on, keeping up with CJ or a quiet night at home with Meghan.
I grew up in New Jersey in a family of developers, and I learned early that your word is the most valuable thing you own. You do what you say you will do, you own it when something goes wrong, and you treat people the way you would want your own family treated.
That is how I approach this work. A client relationship is built on trust and kept through accountability. You will always know what I recommend and why, what it costs and what could go wrong. When I say I will follow up, I follow up. The families I advise are trusting me with the same things I care about most for my own: their children’s future, their parents’ care and what they spent decades building. I do not take that lightly.
